anyone know the MW3 server requirements?
I have a spare sempron singlecore and was wondering if its strong enough to be the server for a 10 player lan party.

Specs:
Sempron 140 2.7 Ghz singlecore
2GB DDR3 1333
onboard Geforce 7025
80GB Sata

I don't think you can host a mw3 server, there were no dedicated servers for mw2 or 3, it was all peer to peer (ala consoles).

there may have been a hacked version but I'm not familiar with it

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. But if you do somehow manage to get it working, please post how you did it. I'd really like to play it without lag.

Ive been researching on this for like two days now.
Managed to run a dedicated server on the sempron, but everytime a 2nd player connects, the server disconnects itself.

There is a dedicated MW3 server you can download via steam - its not very well supported but people do use it
