I use this computer mostly for gaming. Guild Wars 2 and ArcheAge being the most taxing at the moment.

I have an Asus P9X79 Deluxe motherboard that will hold 8 memory modules. At the moment I am running a Corsir CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9G 4x4GB 1600-9-9-9-24 1.35V (1.5V SPD) that I bought recently to keep me running while a similar set was being RMAed. However since this memory is obsolete Corsair sent me a CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9 4x4GB 1866-9-10-9-27 1.5V set to replace it.

My first question is that if I added both sets should I set it for 1600-9-10-9-27 1.5V or something else?

The second question is that if I run into compatibility problems running both sets at the same time, which set would be the fastest for gaming?
1600-9- 9-9-24 1.35V
1866-9-10-9-27 1.5V

Thanks for replies and assistance in this matter.

they should work fine together at 1600-9-9-9-24 1.5v not sure if you can run both at 1866 but you can always give it a try
