Comp Instability. Any thoughts?

So my current build is what is displayed below. Nothing is over clocked and all the drivers are up-to-date (checked everything today).

The problem I am having is that my comp will crash randomly while I am in game. I say randomly because the amount of time in game changes from boot to boot. Some times 10 min others 2 hours. The crash only happens while I am in game and was not happening during every day use until I updated my video drivers. Now even general use will cause the comp to eventually crash after 20 min or so.

So far I have tried replacing the power supply, have run all the tests on the ram with no fails and have replaced the ram with the ram from my last build, and I have tried using the video card from my last build. None of this helped as I am still crashing.

I had posted a few months ago about this problem and some one suggested to up the n bridge some. So I tried that with no results and have left it since my last post due to the semester punching me in the face.

Sounds to me like youv'e done a pretty good job of troubleshooting already. At this point it looks like it could possibly be the motherboard. Looks like the only thing besides the CPU that you haven't tried.

Edit: - oops forgot a critical word

if youve tested the psu, ram and vid card, that leaves just the cpu, mobo and the hdd for possible culprits if its a hardware issue.

have you ran full scan for virus?
made sure your dark knight if clean of dust?
is computer running at safe temps? overheating?
have you run error checking on hdd?
The dark knight is nice and clean and every thing seems to be running at normal temps. Though I just tried to run Prime 95 to make sure the proc was cooling correctly and I keep getting an error message.

cpu: ~40C
vid: ~44C

As to a virus, everything checks out clean.
I would think that maybe Temperatures are a problem if it happens while not gaming after 20 minutes. Try letting the computer sit idle with no applications running other than a temperature program. If it doesn't crash Start some applications that use a lot of memory but keep them idle so they do not tax the CPU. And see how long it takes to crash. If it still doesn't crash maybe your house has poor power. Where I live we have brown outs all the time. Lucky for me I do use a UPS and my PSU is known for taking brownouts like a champ.

Other thoughts.

How old is your install
Have you been able to replicate the problem?

And just to be safe please restart your computer. . . Just kidding

EDIT::: Was writing before you posted temps.

The install is about 3 to 4 months old.

The crash during game I can replicate with no problem. The crash from just normal use I can not. I am bumping the proc temp up to 50C with no crash.

As to the brown outs I am not sure but this is a recent problem with this comp. I did not have the random crashing problem with my last build and it was a descent build with sli and such.
Something to chew on. Some of the Prime95 tests results in errors.

Blend and In-place large FFT
Both end up with rounding errors and claim to have had hardware failure.

Benchmarking and Small FFT work just fine. Temp flattens out at around 55C

In bold Have you tried using older drivers?

Yes I have rolled back the drivers will little luck there sadly. T_T
Seems that what ever the problem is I have exacerbated it. So now the comp will only stay on for 15 min or so even if idling.
So one thing I have found when I tried to put a new hd in and install windows on it I can not get it to boot from cd. What I mean by that is it prompts me to press any key to boot from cd but when I do it doesn't see the keystroke. The odd part is that I can get into the bios and such by pressing delete but once it gets past that part they keyboard is unresponsive until I get to windows.
Have you tries reinstalling windows?

I smell a driver corruption...

If its not seeing the keystroke when booting from CD, plug the keyboard into another port.
I have a similar problem system is 100 percent stable but vantage test fails all the time its probably drivers ...

Well since the keyboard will not respond to let me boot from cd I can not reinstall windows.
I have tried different ports and different keyboards to try to get it to work.
