Here is my new dilema!
I actually got my system to overclock last night. I took some advice and "fixed the Ram settings". Then I got my FSB up to 210 and upped my PSU vltg to 1.575 and had no problems posting. Then when I got the FSB to 220 the machine wouldnt boot. It just sits on the screen which shows the P4 Intel logo and below says "hit del for bios". Well, hitting del doesnt work. It is just stuck on this screen.
So then I tried clearing the CMOS per Abit's manual instructions. I powered down, disconnected the power supply, disconnected the 5v reserve power battery, moved the CMOS jumber to the clear setting, waited several minutes for the CMOS to discharge. Then I moved the CMOS jumper back to the default setting, replaced the 5v battery, reconnected the power supply and powered it back up. Still locked at that screen!
Can anybody help? I worked on this for hours last night and am very frustrated. Thanks!!!
