I just bought a compaq presario as a backup computer with the manufactures upgrade package (200gb hdd (2) 512mb ddr1 ram, an AMD Sempron 3500 and a dvd+rw. I was surprised too see that all the parts inside are actually semi decent parts (the mobo is a ASUS and the onboard graphics are ATI!) I have been using it since yesterday and it seems like a nice off the shelf computer for the price. I was pleased too see the turn around that compaq has made since they joined hp.

Aahh man, that's funny, lol. It's not graphic

jmc7983, first things first. Get rid of that 300w PSU, and get a better one, and then get you an XFX6600GT, their 100 bucks off of the egg. That would be a great back-up machine
