I would go with MSI for that model only.

Get the TFIII. It has a non-reference design that will make overclocking MUCH better. All the EVGA is is a slightly overclocked reference card with bad overclocking potential compared to the TFIII.

Sounds good - a bit scared about MSI though, heard some bad things about them.

and By the way ati 6970 is in the recommended settings for BF3
Gigabyte card sounds like it has some issues with booting, would rather not take the risk.

And I'm choosing the 570 for its significantly higher framerates on my res, 1680x1050, compared to the 6970. I'm on a 5770 atm, couldn't give less of a **** about brand honestly.

Nah. That's with MSI AMD motherboards. I think they are over that anyway now. Their gpu division has been really good and is one of the best brands to buy.

MSI Twin Frozr III: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127582

"Superclocked" EVGA: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130595

Which would I be able to get the most out of overclock-wise? I'm thinking the Twin Frozr due to its fan placement, but I don't really know enough to make an educated guess atm.

Thanks!
I choose MSI GTX570TFIII it has binned chip so your overclock will do much better and it has 6+1power phase so its really safe when doing overclock

I have MSI GTX570TFII OC daily at 930/1100 with 1.075v and I scare to run daily at max vgpu 1.1volt because mycard only has 4+2power phase.... sometimes I run it at 900/1100 with 1.050v
