Hi all,

I have a very lightly used Seagate Cheetah 15K.7 SAS drive.
Model # is: ST3600057SS
It was used briefly for testing only, for a review article, and has ~100 hours on it IIRC.

For those not familiar with them, it's a 15,000 RPM 3.5" drive, with 3.5" platters.
It has an access time of 2ms.

MFR specs are here: http://www.seagate.com/files/docs/pdf/datasheet/disc/cheetah-15k.7-ds1677.3-1007us.pdf

Newegg listing is here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148617&Tpk=ST3600057SS

Appreciate any guidance on a reasonable price before I list it here.

Thanks, Bruce

Seagate Cheetah 15K.7 600GB drive you could probably get around $250 - $280. dont know how well it will sell on the OCN marketplace but places like eBay they seem to seel well, like much enterprise server gear. you could even net $300 or so on the bay

Thanks for the info, stubass.

I agree about the marketplace here, not being oriented to server gear.
But I want to offer it up to any of my friends here, who might want a super-fast HDD.
