Sceptre isn't the very best, but I've heard and seen good things. Great price for a 4000:1 24"-er either way. No HDMI btw.

It's $280 plus $18 shipping (to me) at Newegg

i was looking at that monitor before i got my gateway.
...drool!
You don't need HDMI unless it has speakers. It has DVI which is the same as HDMI without the audio. This is an awesome deal for a sweet monitor. I have a 22" model and it's nice, although I do wish it was 1920x1080.

Er, well, many game consoles and all Blu-Ray players output to HDMI so many consumers prefer monitors with both DVI and HDMI with a built-in switch to they can hook up both their game console and computer. It's something many OCN users look for.

Not a bad deal for 24".

Sucks that Tigerdirect decided to pimp out the Compusa name though.
If someone buys me this monitor I will give them my x58 MB. I want a 24" LCD and already have a Bloodrage on the way. I was gonna sell this MB and get an LCD with the cash. So if you have 200.00 and want an X58 MB PM me.
i got this monitor as well.. got it during thanksgiving.. works amazing..
Awesome deal all of you 24" hopeful's jump on this!
This monitor is very good, I had one at one point. It doesn't look or feel cheap at all. However let it be known that these things are prone to dead and stuck pixels.

The one I bought had one stuck green subpixel in the center of my screen.

Aside from that issue, I loved it. It's a simple design, the bezel is small, and overall the picture quality was excellent. So if you're feeling lucky, and you get one without dead/stuck pixels, you'll have a very enjoyable monitor.

I actually rma'ed mine and ended up with a refund, and bought a T240HD.

Just do your homework about dead pixel policies before you buy, because I see a lot about dead/stuck pixels around the internet with these monitors.
