Computer keeps restarting

When I turn on my computer, it makes the usual pattern of noises, but nothing shows up on the monitor, except on the first time, when it showed something like overclocking failed. It had happened before, but now when i pressed restart, it just turned on, goes on, then off and so on.

When I turned on my computer just now, it showed the overclocking failed message.

So what i have discovered so far is that atleast the video card and hard drive work.

And its totally stock, and no overclocking, as the mobo doesnt even have options for that.

If the mobo doesn't have options to overclock, you couldn't be getting that message. Is it about your sig rig or is it another PC? The P5Q has dozens of overclocking options.
Its a different computer, and it still gives that message. §And thats like sometimes, usually it just keeps restarting, it restarts about just before where the boot thingy would be.

If it has multiple memory modules, try booting up with just 1 stick.

Mine does that too when I have a bad OC, but I have the dual BIOS so it keeps restarting until it reloads the CMOS. Usually I have to kill the power to the machine and hit the power switch to discharge the capacitors, turn power back on start it back up and it reloads the CMOS. But in your case you might have to clear the CMOS by removing the battery for a few minutes or use the jumper to clear the bad OC.
Ok, it didnt help, same problem, i think the problem is either in the mobo or the video card or psu...

Its probably not the vid card because it sometimes shows the error...

What specs does the system have?
Well,
first of all, YES I DID try with one stick, with the same results...

And then:
e8400
2x2gb samsung 800mhz
Ati sapphire 4850 512mb
some msi neo- something, anyways lga775 maybe p35 chipset
Reset CMOS.

Try one DIMM @ time, in at least 2 of the slots.

And for those four configs, run Memtest86+.
