Hi have got a problem here, when I first turn on my PC there was a long beep for approximately 2 second and nothing is showing on the screen, despite fans and leds are all working. what could possibly the problem is?

This is my spec

Gigabyte 790XT-UD4P
AMD X4 955
Corsair 4gb DDR3 CMX4GX3M2A1600C9
Sapphire HD5770 1gb

Please check if my hardwares are compatible also, as this is the 1st time Im playing with DDR3 and AMD.

THanks

The sound gremlins have possessed your computer. You must cast a spell to rid your computer of them.

Check mobo manual to see what the long beep stands for.

It can mean anything... What king of BIOS do you have?? (The company)
and actually google it... I found the info with the 1st attempt.
Disassemble and reassemble using only ram and CPU. See if it posts and listen to beep codes. Add other hardware 1 by 1 and power up to see if it posts. make sure you have all power connectors from CPU to mobo. Some require 2, the main and a 4 or 6 pin connector.
