Alright I got the LTB True 5.1 6 Channel Head PHones. But I dont know how to configure the thing for gaming sound. I wan the ability to hear footsteps above all things. The sound of frags being pulled, the ****in of a gun. I play Americas Army. Ive been fooling with the equalizer and that seems to be the place I get most of my sound from. With that said it would seem any audio device nowa days has an equalizer to fool with, and I was wondering if anyone had some settings that have been tested to bring out the best sound in the things I want. If not does anyone have an answer for me?

On the main setting window I dont know if I should treat the LTBs as headphones or 6 speaker surround sound. I mean they have 6 independant speakers so that would be the 6 speaker option right?

On the mixer window I just maxed everything

On the equalizer window the default setting was all 0 db. I played with the equalizer for a bit and came up with that, but its never very good. I was wondering if anyone had a good equalizer setting that has been tested or know to be ideal.

The information Tab is there incase any of you can get anything out of it that would be of help. Just remember I have a USB decoder thing that acts as a sound card made for these Headphones.

how many mini plugs do the headphones have? if they have 3 then set them up as a 5.1 speaker config, if it has 1 then set them up as headphones

5.1 head set "should" have more than one plug.

2 cent worth input for playing wit EQ. I pick one tone (slider) and move it back & forth till it sounds right to my ears, then work down the line from there. It may take several time doing this. Then tweak it from there over time for what I'm doing at the time.

it it only has one mini plug count how many metal rings it has... there's no way it has enough to be true 5.1 (not that any 5.1 headset is true 5.1, but with only one plug it'll be worse then a regular pair of headphones and an x-fi) my advice... return it

ahh... hmm.. a shared ground for everything! that's certainly not the best config I've seen!

just set it up for surround sound and then leave it be for the most part. tell your games to use 5.1 surround sound if there is the option. if they just have speakers or headphones then choose speakers
