So iv recently come into some money and im torn between 2 things i desprately need/want any guidance from the OCN crowd? 3700+SD 230$ CMstacker case 160$

3700 no question, although you have your 3000 at 3800, not 4000 speeds the 1meg L2 chache will make a big improvement.

Hmmm Central brain indetifier says its like 4100+ =P mebe i can do both... a loan from the powers above perhaps (parents) with the 3700 i could throw my current venice into my other Epox mobo and set up a small home server and put it in my current case if i get the cm stacker.... Any other opinions?

GO for it, it doesnt matter what a program says it is there is no making up for the difference between a 512K L2 and a 1 Meg L2.

SanDiego by far, case wont get you any added performance

unless airflow is what you are looking for.
You might want to lessen the number of fans you have (12) down to a couple 120mm's. That's gotta be loud as hell.

I am thinking about the same mobo and CPU combination and am wondering how it would work. I will be using the system for games and plan on OCing as well.
