Hi guys i used to beable to overclock my 7970 sapphire refrence but since then i had to reinstall windows 7 and have come to a issue.
where i used to be seeing memory clock at 1500mhz it now sais 5500mhz. , So as im a noob at overclocking this has confused me as many threads ive read still have the old memory clock settings that i was used to.
I have switched to bios 2 as i know i hear you can get more out the card to give you a example one of my older clocks used to read like this
GPU 1100
MEMORY 1650
BOARD POWER LI, 0

Now im seeing with latest trixx
GPU 925 default
MEMORY 5500
VDDC 1168 ?
BOARD POWER LI 0

Any help be great as the memory 5500 is confusing me, also any pics of your 7970 refrence overclocks be great i love testing other clocks

effective clock for GDDR5 memory is real clock multiplied by 4. This means you need to overclock your card to 1650MHz real (6600MHz effective) clock.

Go to settings, uncheck "show effective memory clocks"
