Ok, so how exactly am I able to run a second comp through the 2nd network card on my mobo? Do i still need a crossover cable? Or can i just simply hook up another patch cable and change some settings?

basically you just need to go into the connection settings on your network card and set it to allow other computers to connect to the internet through this card. It will ask which network card, just click your 2nd one. I think just normal ethernet cables will do/

you need crossover for internet sharing and all you do is enable your 2nd network card, then on the connecting computer you choose to connect through another computer for the internet connection settings

Hey...thanks for the info guys. After doing a bit more searching, I found a thread that helped me. Though, after reading, going out and buying a crossover cable, I came home to find out my mobo doesn't have dual lan. It was my asus mobo that's sitting in the closet that has it <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/frown.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Frown">. Oh well!!!
