If you think Simcity is broken try Simcity Societies, I was playing it last night, (Friend loaned me his copy) had literally unlimited money very quickly (As in, I was literally just blowing cash on venues non-stop and still pulling massive profits) and even when I destroyed 90% of it all with tonnes of Earthquakes, Asteroids, etc there were still some ecstatic sims...All I could think is what type of person would be ecstatic in that situation.

You know, you're mostly right...There's a few people like me who don't buy their games (I can say you're really not missing out on much anymore) but most people get angry, then go "ermehgerd bertleferld 4!" or something and buy buy buy.
Hopefully this gets a few people to start boycotting EA until they realize not screwing customers over is the right thing to do.
