I was thinking about getting Crysis 3 too...

Forget that. I want nothing to do with EA anymore. They have leaped over the line and kept going.

I dont think it's misleading. It speaks to what happened. And I'm not too thrilled with the idea that EA can just cancel your account at their will, blocking you from games you already own that aren't even related to the issue at hand. That is rediculous. If you bought a movie from Best Buy and they wouldn't reimburse you for it even though the movie didn't work, so you did a charge back through your bank. I don't think they would have the right to remove any functionality of any merchandise you had previously bought from them. The whole idea of it really pisses me off.

He probably was saying, one more screwup, and im ditching this trainwreck of a company.. You may be the CEO, but that doesn't mean you can control everything, its up to your managers to do what they are told.

My two cents:

I preordered the game. Got the Deluxe Edition for $10 more, didn't install the game until last night.

I logged on, played, built a small city and let the computer run overnight. Woke up and had a cool million in my bank account (along with streets filled with trash and sewage.

Saved, went to work.

FWIW I have had zero issues with this game, and am perfectly happy with it. Not everyone waited but this was my own experience.

And yes, the AI is stupid. Same with the previous Sim City games. Boo hoo.

EA has become institutionalized, turned into an cognizant entity with a mind of its own. Even though they may have a new CEO, they will not shed their "Evil Galactic Empire" image any time soon.

I used to think that Ubisoft would always be my favorite publisher to hate, but EA is giving them a serious run for their money in that department.

In any case I don't buy games published by EA, plain and simple.

It's never going to stop because once EA releases a new game people will ignore all of this and rush by the flocks

So...who's gonna defend EA on this one?
