I have a Moto SLVR that records in 3gp file format. I need a program to convert the files into something like mpg so I can edit them and post them on youtube or something.

If I can remember right I used a app called

Nokia (Multi)Media Player to convert mine. I think was the name. I will look for it

Edit: That was the program I used for viewing them. I used Mobile 3GP converter V1.00 to convert them as it waas freeware............I will look for it It is prob version 3+ now

I use an app called Zwei-Stein to convert 3GP to AVI/MPG. Was the only one that worked for me, and it is also freeware and on Tucows:

Has a pretty ugly interface, but it is highly functional.

Thanks, money. I'm having some problems with both apps, though, I guess b/c of Vista.

I could never figure out zwei stein...this is what I use I found it after long searching for this kinda program:

Don't be scared away, the page is in probly japanese but you can change the program to english. It converts to a bunch of other formats too, only for some reason it has problems converting some of my WMV files.

Use the setup prog to set the format, for my E815 I use .3g2 without the header, in the program itself I use the QCIF normal setting.

ImToo 3GP Video Converter, if you can find it under that name just search ImToo you should be able to find it bundled with a bunch of ImToo series converters
