Two six pin connectors...so much for THOSE rumours.
Hmm looks shopped to me. Also, some really weird people have posted hieroglyphics below, I think I am gonna call fake on this one!

Actually if you notice on the bottom of the pcb on the uncooled side of the card there are 6 and 8 pin connectors.. notice the number of solder points.. 6 + 8. The card, indeed does have 6 and 8 pin connectors. Even the top view that shows the plugs you can tell one is slightly wider and it's confirmed by the solder on the bottom pcb.

there is room for 6+8 but thats prolly for the AIB oced versions, two six pins for the one now.

edit:can't upload pics, for some reason imageshack is being a b$tch, can't upload pics

Well...no good angles on the first two pics so it looks like 2 six pin.

That makes sense, I guess PCB is 4980 OC core ready?

ZOMG! Amazing! It looks like...

every other dual slot graphics card ATI has made in the last two years

The heatsink design is pretty sweet, though; I'll give it that. Either way, I want one no matter what it looks like.

It's a Chinese forum?

Almost all leaked photos of new PC products come from China (where these things are made).

that card specifically has a 6 and 8 pin. I can tell that the wider plug aligns with the position for the extra soldered prongs on the back of the card. The picture are beyond blurry so it's really hard to tell, but it's an 8pin there.

I do indeed see 6 + 8 soldered points. But i don't see 6+8 pin.. i see two at the same size 6+6..... Could be that it's built buy some weird company who made the 2 extra soldered points go to the same hole in the 6pin??? would be stupid though...

Honestly it looks like 2 6-pin connectors to me. Notice the metal prongs leading into the black plastic connector on the left. There appear to be three on top, which would be for a 6-pin connector. The metal prongs on the right connector are partially covered up, but it looks to be the same width.

Also, the amount of soldier points doesn't necessarily dictate the connector type. For example, my 8800GTX's have both 6-point and 8-point soldiers for connectors on each card, but there are actually 2 physical 6-pin connectors. The extra two soldier points on one of the connectors aren't used.

to me the inside lines up with the 8 soldered prongs and it is indeed slightly longer. Unfortunately, the picture is at such a bad angle and quality it's hard to judge. However, not only is the 8 solder points there, there is the extra 8 pin plug prong to hold onto the card.

Ah, I see what you're saying.

Notice the little white rectangle outline to the right of the connectors - I believe that space is where the extra 2 connectors would go. It's too far from the screw hole on the right (the hole in the end-center of the card). Using the backside pic of the card as a reference.

regardless, someone with access to a 4890 should know to get better than webcam quality pictures. If I had access to a 4890 I'd be using a minimum of a digital slr to prove it.
to be honest it looks like it can be 8 or 6, if you look at the back solder points, they are unused, but has mounting holes for 8 pin, maybe its wired up so if it does end up needing more power it has the option.

Are you practicing how to be an idiot on a online forum today?

It's called Chinese, and that hardly is a reason to claim it's fake. If it was in English, well, it must be true.
