I know the good coolers for intel but I'm dipping into AMD now and i'm wondering what are some good air coolers for the 1055T?

if you want to go budget get the coolermaster hyper 212+.

if you want something that performs better but costs about 2-3 times more get the cm v6gt.

generally anything thats good for intel will be good for amd, its just that you need to find a back plate support for socket am3 boards

I'd recommend the Hyper 212+!!!

Great performing cooler for an extreme price.

Add another good fan and it will kill other coolers for a price as such.

Scythe Mugen 2, considered 1 of the best AMD coolers around. It beat the H50 i bought, so im still using it.

The CoolIt Eco A.L.C. and Vantage have a lot of $50 deals floating around. Both are liquid cooling, they should get the job done for overclocking. I'm at 3.8GHz with 1.44v and I idle around 28C and load around 45C.

How about the megalaems or the venx? do they all have amd brackets?

Usually they come with brackets, although you have your default MB bracket which in most cases work as well. I personally like my cooler because the fan is REALLY quiet. If I had no graphic cards, it would be a silent CPU.
