the loudest part of my computer atm is the power supply. i have corsair tx850...really annoying..so im looking for something "better".

is it worth buying Cooler Master Silent Pro Hybrid 850W PSU? or something else..

what components are you running? you might not need an 850w and there are some other really good options but knowing what you run would be helpful so i can suggest some alternatives for you

This; if you have components that don't take up too much power, SeaSonic's fanless PSUs (up to 520W) and Rosewill's Silentnight 500W are truly quiet.

Which means, you can run an i7-3770K with a GTX 680 and still be fine with one of the mentioned above.

i7 2600k
2xssd
2x hdd
1 dvd
1x radeon 7970 ghz

but im thinking about buying another 7970

so not sure if 500w psu can handle this

500W cannot handle dual 7970, but easily can handle a single one. You'll want a good quality 650W+ that comes with the required four PCIe power plugs.

i found very good offer and i bought Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 850 W...and it's amazing difference between my old corsair tx850 and the new one

it's so quite.nice really
