I'm installing my Corsair H70 today, was wondering if I can get some input about this_

Now the only location I can attach the radiator is the rear 120mm fan location_

I was thinking of setting it up to Intake air from the back but this might cause temps inside the Case to heat up dramatically_

If I set it up as Exhaust(Pulling air inside the case out, I would decrease case temps but yet at the same time warm air will be going through the Radiator due to my MSi GTX560 Ti video card that dumps all the hot air inside the case. (This would result in poor CPU Cooling performance)

How do you guys have your H70 installed? Are your temps better with the Intake Install or Exhaust install? Or there was no difference for you?

I currently have my H70 unopened. But I do have the H50 in my rig right now. I did test this myself, and I saw absolutely no temp changes when intaking or exhausting in my P/P set up.

I have read in the Corsair Thread, that some have seen minimal temp drops. Just test it out and see what works best for you. Takes a few minutes to change the fan set up.

To be honest, I've had my H70 as intake and exhaust and haven't seen any difference. I finally left it as exhaust to keep it from sucking so much dust in. Mine is mounted in the rear, but the case is a storm sniper black.

Alrite, thanks for the input, well I did two tests_

**Intake from the rear into the PC Case(Results were 33C Idle and 48C Load)
-With this setup My ram heatsinks were really heating up, they were hot enough that I wasn't comfortable with their temps, a little toasty to the touch(They seem to be absorbing all the heat that the Radiator fan is blowing at them)

-Case temps were pretty warm too, definitely could feel the heat from the side window.

**Exhaust from the rear(Taking in air inside the case and exhausting in rear) Results * 33C Idle and 50C Load_ (A Tiny 2C increase in temps)

-Case temps were lower and my Ram heatsinks are cool to the touch**

All on 955x4 BE CPU with 4.0ghz o/c at 1.428volts

It seems that exhausting the air seems to increase load temps up to 50C, but also lowering temperatures all around so looks like the best setup is to have the fans setup to exhausted air outside the case, otherwise you got yourself an oven_

** Probably cutting the rear fan grill mesh will improve overall airflow and also improving temps( This comes with a risk, considering the Radiator could get damaged from little fingers poking at it, darn kids lol )
