How old is it and how many hours of use??????

MTBF can be unreliable
purchased new in 2006, used for 4 months of light (4-6 hours) per day use. Estimated 100-150 hours
$35 as they're pretty cheap to begin with and I know mine was loud as hell.

no doubt, that's kinda what I was thinking about pricewise. Perhaps I can find someone with a farm that needs an extra PSU and wouldn't mind the noise. I replaced a 430W CM psu with the 600... and I'm replacing this one now with a 520HX to reduce on cable clutter in a smaller coolermaster 330 case.

probably not a bad idea. It's a hefty one, so that'd be a decent deal for someone I would think.
