what are your thoughts on this power supply, i was going to go with corsair but decided i wanted a modular for my HAF, but the corsair modulars are to expensive. Will this be ok for a gtx260 and possibly gtx260 sli in the future.
does it have enough amps on the rails? and appropriate connections?

The corsair modulars (HX series) are expensive but really good quality and totally worth it IMO.

What I've read & found with the cooler master psu's are that they say "700w" but they can actually pump out more.
I would say that psu would be fine, my 520m does a real good job with powering my setup with no problems

I also have an M520 in one of my rigs. While adequate it doesn't match the corsair HX 620W in terms of voltage stability.

The real power (pro) series really stands out the rest of CM series. That 700w psu can do 620w+ on 12v. GXT260 is a 182w gpu, with SLI scale and what you have, the CM 700w psu should be fine. It is a good alternative to corsair 750tx if corsair unit is too expensive there.

I have 2 of the coolermaster realpower PSUs, a 750 in my sig rig, and a 520 in erm...another one. Lovely bits of kit, the 5 year warranty should be a clue as to the quality

they may be a better brand, but its not like a CM700 is not gonna support my rig in terms of power and stability. and they're not a bad PSU either.

i have a real power pro m700, with a 4870x2 and it makes aloud buzzing noise (more with its more graphic intense) can hear a slight buzz when moving the mouse, i wouldnt recommend with a power hungry pc as i need to buy a new psu when i only bought mine 5 months ago
