ok so i got my NEW CM sniper BE
in today and i have it all up and running but i need some help :\\ about 2 minutes after i started my pc the top, front and side fan LIGHTS (not the fans) stopped working now i don't know what to do.

other then the lights not working everything is working fine no problems with the fan controller and my cpu fan is louder then the case lolz

Also as a side note who ever said cable management in the sniper was hard didn't try hard lol. I found it easy and FUN but long

Another thing is WOW the leds for power and HD are BRIGHT lol.

EDIT: for those who are wondering YES i did take pics and ill upload them soon

pix
hehe, someone i know has that case, and there is a switch for the lights, maybe you pushed that by accident? other than that i dont really know...

those hdd/power leds are darn bright, you could unplug them from your motherboard, or use some sanding paper to sand the top of the led's. be carefull not to scratch the case itselve

That switch controls all of the fan leds. Perhaps its compressed under the plastic cap?

ok so i took out my front pannel and its not the button. so do you all think that might mean that my lights are gone??? if so im kinda bummed out but i will live
The LED's are embedded in the fans. They won't all fail simultaneous.

Coolermaster will warranty this regardless.
i have checked that and i DO know about the button and if i hit it many times .... i think the light part lost a connection or something.... do you think cooler master would send out just one small part for a low low price? cause its only my lights all my fans work fine
how does that switch work? are there any connectors or something like that? make sure they are all plugged in. If it doesnt work unplug the connectors, and get a dmm, check the resistance between both legs, maybe therse a loose connection inside the switch or something like that....
Are the LED (2 pin) and Molex connectors secure?
yes all the connections are secure and the light switch is a push button and i have taken it apart to look and made sure all the connections are snug and they are so im thinking the button is messed? well anyways thanks for the help so far hope to get more

I would say the front panel is FUBAR, but I'm not positive.

Your best bet would to be talk to CM http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/livehelp.php

If that is the case, CM will normally send you a new front panel.

Contact cooler master and explain your problem to them. Another member had a bad controller panel and they sent him one free of charge. They know they have had some issues with the controller and understand. Let us know how it turns out!
