Swiftech has a nifty little calculator for giving the power consumption of a Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Quad. The calculator will also give the temperature of the processor using their Apogee waterblock.

Scroll down the page to get to the calculator.

For example, a Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz and 1.45 volts (actual) will consume about 202 watts of power.

A E6600 @ 3.6Ghz and 1.45 volts (actual) will consume only 90 watts of power.

That Q6600 looks like it eats power!
