Hey all,
After my PC carked it (it was the CPU, methinks), I decided it was high time for an upgrade. So I went to my local PC store and picked up a 3570K and an ASUS P8Z77-M PRO. After about 2 days of stuffing around with drivers and BF3 (DAMN YOU ONBOARD AUDIO *shakes fist angrily*), I present to you the results of my upgrade:

Indeed, mynold CPU was such a bottleneck that it stopped me from playing BF3 at more than 30fps (on low, at 1680x1050), now I can play on high at 1920x1080. Best $400 I've ever spent n_n
