Core Temp currently lists my cpu at about 31*C and 37*C, while at the same time in BIOS the PC Health Status lists the cpu at 22*C and 25*C. This obviously would matter to me in my overclocking endeavors (im rooting for BIOS

)

Which is more accurate? Are there any other third party sources i can check this from (NO SPEEDFAN)?

If the BIOS is accurate, it reflects 80% of the full load.
Some people with the Brisbane cores have had some issues though.

So lets say that 80 % is right then my load temps would be 28*C and 32*C
***if BIOS is correct. Thats only about a 2 -3 *C difference in Core Temp. That's not that bad.

I think i should lap my hsf and cpu before summer gives me and my machine cancer. Thx for the info Duke
