Corrupt Windows Install on Laptop Removal

Hey guys, got a friend with a Dell Inspiron.
Somehow managed to get two installs of XP on it, except one really is not there. You know, I have to choose @ startup between two XP Homes, but one is completely invalid.

I know I have fixed it before on another PC, know it's pretty basic but I completely forget.

Turntable God
Quite simple actually:

Go to start
select run
type in msconfig
System Configuration window should appear
Go to boot.ini tab
click on check all boot paths
press ok
reboot and it should be gone
