Hi guys, first time posting on Overclock and I had a question about a case I was looking at, the Corsair obsidian 800d.

This case features a 360mm radiator mount on the top for watercooling purposes. I was wondering if I had a push/pull system with 100+cfm fans and a decent radiator, like the black ice gtx 360, would this be enough power to cool a 2600k CPU and a hd 6990 (once a full coverage block is released)?

(For the purpose of this thread I am not including the option of modding the case to fit a 240 in the bottom as well, Just the stock case.)

Any help would be great!

So... If I put dual 6990 Crossfire, both water cooled and OC 2600k, do you think I'd need to put in the modded 240? or would the 360 still have enough power?

Welcome to OCN!!

I would just mount another radiator inside of the case on the back panel.
I know that you can put a 140mm fan there, but I know that a 140mm SR-1 radiator will not fit. It is too wide. My friend had an issue with that. He had to mount a 120mm with zip ties...

A 360+120 would be plenty for two 6990s and CPU. No modding needed.
