I gather these are based on seasonics new KM3 platform, are these PSU's single rail or are they like the seasonic X1050 and x1250's and actually sport a quad rail design?

Yeah its dependent on having the corsair LINK software installed and actually having it work correctly which seems to be really hit and miss from what ive read about the new AXi series. Huge miss if you have linux or windows 8 or OSX because it dosent work on any of them unfortunately.

I would rather they just use a hardware solution and ditch that flaky software.
