Corsair Dominator Platinum paint worthy?

I was thinking about painting the silver top of the ram white for my white/black rig. Would this work ok "heat wise" or do you think it would look better stock? i'm using a MSI mpower z77 board with the yellow bits painted white. Or any other ram suggestions for the rig in general? I like second opinions.

Just paint it, will not make any difference.
