these cases are brand new. but shipping will prolly kill the deal.

Well, they're labeled as refurbs. So can't be sure... But I don't know exactly why they're refurbed. I don't believe you are ever told anyway, Lucius.

Yeah I didn't see anything on their site specify what was refurbished about them either.

I'm sure QC issues or damages during shipping can result in bent pieces/damaged hinges/shorted cables etc. I guess I just found the idea of a case needing refurbishing kinda amusing.
