The INQ article is just an intro to the article they link to which IN DETAIL discusses the financial and real-world setbacks that Vista's content management (DRM) causes. Even if you know Vista will be a terrible thing for the PC industry, it's still good to read.
I can't see how anyone can say Vista is better than XP and "is just another OS". There's anti-piracy and then there's overkill. This is the PC world equivalent of putting video cameras in every home "for your protection".
