It took a leap of faith for me to buy my first Acer monitor. That 19" and my later 24" have been rock solid - with one exception. Once in a blue moon (2-3 times a year) my 24" will say no video when there is, and power off after a while. Have to pull the AC cord to reset it. I use a KVM, however, and am flipping back and forth a lot - I am sure that has something to do with it.

i love my acer. about 6 months ago best buy accidently posted one for 50 dollars online and i bought it. I went into the store to get it for 50 and they said no (claimed it was a pricing mistake and could'nt honor it) . long story short the police gave me my monitor because in south Carolina if you have a recepit (online confirm), been charged for the product, and they have it in stock (it was sitting on the back counter) its against the law not to give the product.
i have this monitor, and i had it for a while. I got it on sale a while back, and it's great! 24 inches is alot of room to work with! It has a decent touch-screen interface, and it does everything a good monitor is supposed to do.
Is it the best monitor out there? no. It has some flaws; for example, there's some light backlight bleed towards one corner of my screen, but i only notice it when i put a white background that spans the whole screen. Also with my 295, when i put it to sleep and then start it up, it says no signal.
Agreed, not the best monitor, but definitely up there, when it comes to the money you'll spend on it.
one: you can't tell the difference of the speed at all. second, 2ms sometimes has a ghosting effect or white edges around stuff, less quality - on the cheaper monitors that is.

no. 2ms would not have ghosting effect at all. even 5ms monitors.
