Could this cause problems?

Been having problems overclocking my CPU and I have been reading up on some ram settings in the amd memory forums.

My ram:
Kingston hyper-x PC-6400

If I did not add any voltage to the ram and ran it [email protected] would this cause blue screens/freeze?

Also If I ran:
CPU @ 2700 and Ram @ 800 would this also cause Blue Screens/Freeze if trying to OC the CPU?

Basically I am asking if my ram could be the cause of some of my Blue Screens/freezes because of the settings.

Most likely, as the ram runs tighter timings at 667 (probably 4-4-4-15) as opposed to 5-5-5-15 that 800Mhz runs. If you loosened the timings to 5-5-5-15 at 800Mhz, you might be fine at 1.8v, but i'd up the volts a little to be safe

RAM is one of the main causes for BSOD's from my experience. Try upping the RAM volts a bit to see if that helps
