As I remember someone mentioned in here before.......
some people forgot to take off their CPU Core plastic thingy?? and they complain about the temp is so hot..

How does that thing looks like.....I got a new CPU right here...just not sure if that plastic thingy is here or not....since I never seen that thingy before...??

Someone got a pic of that?
I got a new XP-M CPU right in front of me now..and there is a purple shiny thing @ the core...is that the thing i have to take off? or thats how the CORE looks like, LOL!?

Not sure about the CPUs themselves, though they might have a thin layer of plastic over the core to prevent scratches, but the most common problem was people not taking the plastic lining off the heatsinks.
