Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to pick out a CPU that will be able to handle 1 host and 2 VMs running nearly 24/7. The system would be used mainly for gaming with a bit of editing as a hobby on the side. This build is mainly trying to effectively reduce the number of computers in the office since room is an issue. I've been told by another on Tomshardware that I should go with an E5-2690 Xeon and Linus tech tips used a 5960X to perform this. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I was wondering if VMs can utilize more than one GPU in an SLI config per VM. Nvidia said no, but I've been reading in other forums to where people have done it. So, I'm not sure if that's just dumb luck or if Nvidia just says no because their Telsa and Quadro cards are specialized for it.

Again thanks for any and all effort. Let me know if I need to clarify anything.
