Hello everyone,

I have a real problem with my new build. I did a little upgrade to my cpu and bought cheapest mobo to go with it http://www.msi.com/product/mb/760GM-P21--FX-.html. I get it to high loads with P95 and it throttles from x18 to x7 in like 30 seconds, temp gets to 255C ( I know its not possible, but that seems to throttle my cpu and that way while playing games I drop half of my framerate

). I have no understanding of motherboards and I really need to get this working because this is just unbearable. Thanks for any answers!

Have you updated your bios on the motherboard, and have you used Realtemp as I used coretemp before on a AMD Phenom system before and it showed really ******ed high temps for no reason. And it going up in down on the multiplier is the work of the Cool n Quiet technology Link if you really want to know what that is.

Are you using cpuz to monitor the cpu speed of the cpu or coretemp?
