Edited for clarity:

CAB2E is the Core. 0604 is the week. CPMW is the (sub) Stepping. All 3 of these criteria determine the overall Stepping of the CPU.

I have AS5. Should i put that on the CPU. I Know its better than the stock stuff but do i need to scrape off the stuff thats already on the stock heatsink?

Yes, you should clean the old stuff off completely before applying the AS5. Be sure to use the proper amount as well, a BB sized dot in the middle will be plenty to cover the whole CPU once the HSF is tightened down.

Remove the old stuff with out scratching or gouging the HS and clean with Alcohol, preferably 90% and a lint free cloth.

Oh, and CAB2E are usually a good stepping

Yes, you will need to remove the TIF that is currently on the HSF should you wish to use your AS5. You can do this with some hydrogen peroxide or isoporply achohol.

EDIT: Wow, im slow... beat by the Duke and RyGuy.
