955BE, with CM Hyper 212+ with a Seasonic PSU. Should be able to do 300.

Be hard to get a quality PSU with a decent cooler and a 1090t. Better to go with 955BE quad for now. Still runs good and OC's well. Should be able to hit 4 gigz and when you save up then geta 1090t if you feel the need.

Ahhh my bad, didn't see sig rig that you already have hex core. Coulda swore PSU was in there too. But yea, if you need just heatsink cpu and fan, then 1090t with Megahalem.

You don't really need the multiplier unlocked to OC.
Most of the 1055T's reached around the same levels as the BE hex cores.

Not really worth the cash IMO, but to each his own.

Almost every cooler says that. Some good ones are venomous x, CM 212, Xiggy DK was one of my faves and its inexpensive, as well as TT 120. Although the new ones are more pricier.

Very good mobo.
You can buy 1090T and a Scythe SCMG-2100(Mugen 2) for under $300 at newegg.com.
You can check the sale section here for a cheaper 1090T or 1100T and a better cooler for under $300.

Why don't you overclock the cpu you have, some more, surely it can't be stuck at 3.2Ghz?

If you can get it to 3.5-4Ghz, it's really not worth upgrading to a BE.
