I'm trying to overclock my Q9550 but I'm not sure I understand the increments for the Vcore. Im at 377mhz bus speed, 1508 FSB, 8.5x multiplier, 3.2ghz core speed, 1.152v core voltage, at 45c after 15 minutes of prime95.

Isn't that temperature too high??? Do I need to give the cpu more voltage? I've read more than 10 threads with this topic but nothing addressed my questions really.
Thanks

Your motherboard has bad vdroop. My ep45-ds3r has it too. Just increase the voltage in bios until you reach your goal voltage in Windows.

Or enable LLC (Load Line Calibration).
