what is this!!! cpuz is showing what I actually have my FSB set to, but core temp and orthos show it [email protected]! I mean alot higher, like 300 mHz

its happened to me with everything showing the right speed but everest ultimate edition which will show my cpu being on a x6 divider which puts it a full gig under what its really running, it usually fixes itself if i restart everest- somtimes

Hiba, it's perfectly normal when you lower the multi on the E6600 + P5B DLX.

As you can see, AIBooster shows 450x7 @ 3.15ghz but TAT and System Properties show 4.05ghz which it is 450x9 but in BIOS and CPU-Z it reads 450x7 as that's the setting I manually used.

In your case, 400x9 but it's actually 400x8.

yeah thats normal. i have the P5W DH Deluxe mobo and the same thing happened to me. i put the e6600 multi to 7 so the actual speed was like 2.8ghz. winxp sys properties and other apps showed 3.6GHz
