I know the Touhou series has different difficulty levels, the one shown is supposed to be Extra mode which is a tad above Lunatic mode. You can always try Easy mode if you're still in elementary school, otherwise Normal is a good choice; both are much easier than Extra and Lunatic difficulties.

The top two are easier than they look, it's just intimidating due to all the bullets, but there's actually patterns you will notice that help make the game much easier.

That being said, they're all very do-able.

(touhou 11-12 lunatic > all)
