Creating a homemade sata power cable

Ok, i am making a simple cable, where it is very simple. You know the power cables where it has 2 or 3 sata power connectors on one cable, well thats what I am doing.

But I have ran into an issue, there is a 5th place on the sata power t connector, and I am getting the power from a 4-pin molex connector.

Is this 5th wire needed?

Supposively its for 3.3 volts, but this guide says its not needed:

No the 3.3v is not needed.
If you look at molex to sata adapters they do not have it:

edit: The text isn't really relevant, this is just the best angle I could find quickly.
