I am currently running windows 10 but the problem ive been having is that MS have stopped supporting silverlight with W10 so i have not been able to watch skysports through my PC.... I have been trying to find information on how to install W7 onto my PC with-in a new partition so that when wanting to watch skysports i can just load up W7 from the partition... is this even possible and has anyone got a link to instructions on how to do this or can tell me thanks.

I have tried but got a message saying i wouldnt be able to boot windows from any part of the drive if i continued so i cancelled as didnt want to break anything

Get you some VM software and do it that way.
Of just create a dual boot machine.

Then you got reading to do! The easiest Virtual Machine software would be Virtual Box. If that is too complicated get a second hdd and install W7 on that. Disconnect the other hdd when you install win7. You can reconnect it after.
