Just going off the top of my head, not sure if it has any "real" worth, perhaps just sold as is to cover shipping or 20 bucks for lunch at the most. Sorry that I cannot give a indefinite answer about this item.

well I have had my old Audigy SE (or LE, not sure) for some time and it was still far better than onboard, giving a boost to my sennheiser 555s by 100% at least, so a full Audigy/ Audigy 2 card should still hold some value to anyone just looking to avoid onboard.

This is the standard, in my opinion. This should be what all gamers and music aficionados alike have in their build from the beginning before dropping bigger money on a full size sound card. It will make even the most basic of desktop speakers and earbuds perform twice as well. There will be a noticeable difference. So I'd say $20-25 shipped (at what, $3, 48 states) is a good deal for anyone thta wants to know the difference of a dedicated audio processor
