I just paid for these:
-XSPC RX240, to replace my RS240
-Koolance RP-401x2 Single 5.25" bay reservoir
-Dazmode Storm DDC pump (MCP355 with PWM control)

The bay reservoir takes up to 2 pumps.. Would that have made any difference for my CPU only loop? As it is right now, I'm pushing this RS240 to its limits - a 3770k @ 1.36v and 4.7GHz with 1/2" ID tubing and a D5 pump.

EDIT: I had originally bought an XSPC Rasa RS240 kit, to see if it'll actually fit in my case and how much room I'd have. It turns out it fits beautifully and I have room for a larger rad.

I also bought componants to make fan wires, a PSU sleeving kit, some Indigo Xtreme and a few extra compression fittings.

Most people use dual pumps in serial for one of two reasons:

1- They are paranoid about a pump failing
2- They need greater head pressure to deal with having many devices that restrict flow

With a CPU only loop, I'd skip the second pump

Good luck and enjoy the upgrade!

I was looking at the EK XTX240, but in light of recent news and all that, I decided to stick with XSPC.
