crossfire issue

Just got my HIS radeon 4870 in today and install it. I already had a visiontek 4870 and set it up for crossfire with the HIS. Got the latest version of CCC and the display driver. I was trying to Max out company of heroes and when switching to DX10 my monitor displayed "out of range" i have never seen this on a monitor and have no clue what it means or how to fix. It runs fine in any other game or in dx9 although when i benchmarked the game i didnt see much of a perf. boost. went from getting 47 fps to 52. Help always appreciated, and +Rep for fast friendly helpful info

And what resolution are you trying this on? Is vsync enabled?

Out of range usually means it can't support the refresh rate or resolution you are trying to set.

He's right. Your monitor is telling you that it's getting a single that is either has too high of a resolution, too high of a refresh, or both.

This only happens with that one game and DX10 mode?

im running 1650x1050 and my refresh is 60hz. But how would that mess up dx10 if 9 works jsut fine?
i cant find whether vsync is on or off in CCC is it somewhere else?
Have you checked for any patches to CoH that might address the problem you're having?
yes, along with my CCC drivers and Disply drivers. A buddy of mine said the 9.2 driver is garbage. and told me to go back to 9.1. i did and saw now difference.
hmm, i have good news. i just tryed it again and i had no problems. soo i hope it says and dosent mess up again. Thx guys for the help +rep for both of u

Is everything working fine with the 9.1's you went back to? I had issues with the 9.1's but the 9.2's have been flawless for me. I even saw about an 800 point bump in 3Dmark06.
hmm i went back to 9.1 and that seamed to fix problem. but ill go back to 9.2 just incase.
