So surprisingly, mine is scheduled to show up tomorrow!. Which if you ask me is pretty darnn fast from SK (ordered it Saturday last week). It cleared customs within a couple hours today so I wish Digitalforce and DividebyZERO the same luck on a speedy delivery.
I wouldn't doubt both of you guys getting yours ahead of the 15th. They use UPS btw so you guys can easily track it after about 24 hours
This might just be my new monitor. I will have to wait some first impression posts though. I understand that returning it will be easier via Amazon, but that doesn't mean I want to be out the huge return shipping cost if something annoying occurs.
If I do pull the trigger I will just have to figure out how to re-arrange my desk

Since placing my order early Tuesday morning through Amazon, I still don't have any tracking progress
Oh well, I'm patient and I am sure it will be here by next week. I really wanted to play with it over the weekend but that might be wishful thinking. Either way, if the monitor doesn't work out, I'll pay shipping back to Amazon but I've never had to return to a 3rd party seller via Amazon.
Regardless of all those details, I'm stoked to try it out. Between the price and features, it's almost too good to be true.

They do say 2-3 days processing and who knows how busy they are with orders now that its been on Amazon for about a week. Funny thing is the Amazon App showed my tracking # a whole day before the official Amazon website did. May want to try that and copy/paste it to UPS Tracking to see if there is status. I feel the same way about this monitor. It does seem too good to be true. I had the Crossover 30Q5 Pro and it was way better than I expected. So fingers crossed!
It has PBP (Picture Beside Picture), 2 HDMI 1.4 ports, and 2 DP 1.2 ports. So by using two cables from one computer, each running at 1920x2160, you should be able to drive it at full resolution at 60Hz, using any combination of native HDMI 1.4, native DP 1.2, USB-to-HDMI, and USB-to-DP graphics adapters that use the 4K-capable DisplayLink chip (DP-5500, I think).
Besides the original 30 Hz Seiki, new 60 Hz Seiki, and the recent Crossover, and Philips 60 Hz, here are some lesser-known 39s, and 40s. i think all deliver 4:4:4 color and PBP:
$664 Wasabi Mango QHD397
$700 PCPOP-039UHD4K
$800 Inkel SU40
$800 AMH A399U hdmi 2.0, dp 60Hz
There are no alternatives since the Philips and Seiki monitors along with the Samsung series 6 (and likely 7-9) 4K monitors/TVs use low frequency PWM or Flicker (Side Effects) while the Crossover is not supposed to.

It's likely semi-glossy since it's supposed to use the same TP Vision panel as the Philips. This will likely stretch the image slightly since the Philips does by 2%. The Wasabi Mango UHD420 is likely a good AH-IPS alternative.

Can you test for PWM/Flicker using the Test UFO test (read the instructions)? It's a visual test so don't take a picture.

I'll definitely report back the moment I test it. I was SUPER excited when I first booted up the 40" Seiki Pro I got the other day but the drab colors and horrid contrast levels killed it for me. It's going back to Amazon tomorrow.
If that Wasabi Mango is glossy, I am ALL over it. That being said, 40" is huge for my desk.. 42" is pushing redonkulous
But with the Wasabi Mango using an LG Panel primarily designed for TV and tuner.. its more of a TV than a monitor. I'd be interested in seeing how the motion blur is. Most IPS Panels I've owned are worthless for gaming even though they advertise 5ms G-G input lag is good but the motion blur is usually quite bad. Id also like to know it you could push the Wasabi Mango to 120Hz at 2560x1440 like the Crossover 44k advertises. In any event I have a schedule delivery of tomorrow for my Cossover 44k and will post a Youtube vid over the weekend with some impressions.

The best AHVA/IPS/PLS panels have faster pixel response times (less ghosting) than the best VA panels, and large IPS panels make better monitors since they do not suffer from gamma shift or the 'VA cone,' but both suffer from glow when viewing dark content. The glow free distance for both is likely around 121cm/4ft. Input lag is the result of cheaping out+laziness (using old scalers) or fancy tech, not panel type. Both of these will likely have 20ms delays.
