RESOLVED

: I revisited my CPU overclock. Looks like after 2 1/2 years my 2500k needs a bit more juice to run at 4.5Ghz.

I'm hoping someone can help me with my PC rebooting randomly and I think my SSD is the root cause. I know Crucial had a 5200 hour bug with M4, but I have latest firmware and 3900 hours of usage. There is no BSOD, and I cannot find the root cause. I can be playing games or watching Youtube. Last time this happened Windows had been running for 5 hours and eventviewer only said there was an unexpected shutdown.

Windows 7 x64 Pro with latest updates.

CPU is OC, and has been OC for a year and a half. Ran prime95 for 12 hours without issue. Reboots started within last 2 months. GPUs at stock speeds.

Also, I installed latest drivers for BIOS/motherboard/USB a week ago.

I would check your power supply.

Replaced the PSU with a Kingwin LPZ-1000. So far no unexpected shutdowns so I think you pinpointed the problem.

I am still on 0309 and i never had problem.But i heard for people that had problem with 040h.

Try downgrading the firmware to 0309 like IgorHvar said. Some people have issues with the newest firmware with UEFI mobos.
